This page describes what information Sessiz Net collects when you visit this website or get in touch, why we collect it, and the rights you have under European data-protection law.
Who we are
"Sessiz Net" refers to the operator of sessiznet.com, reachable at admin@sessiznet.com. The website is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, and processes personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
For the purposes of GDPR, the operator of Sessiz Net is the data controller for any personal data you provide.
Data we collect
From visitors to this website
Our web server keeps short access logs. Each entry contains:
- your IP address
- the timestamp of the request
- the URL you requested and the HTTP status returned
- the referring page, if your browser sent one
- your user-agent string (browser and operating system)
We do not deploy tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, third-party analytics, advertising tags, or session-replay tools.
From people who contact us
If you send email to admin@sessiznet.com, we receive your email address, your name (if your client sends it), and the contents of your message. Nothing more.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set tracking cookies. Your browser may save a single local-storage entry, sessiznet:theme, that records whether you prefer light or dark presentation. That value never leaves your device. See our Cookie policy for details.
Why we use it
We process the data above only for the purposes listed here, and only on the legal bases stated:
- Operating and securing the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs help us detect abuse, debug failures, and meet our security obligations.
- Replying to your inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you write to us, we use your address and message to respond, and to keep a record of the correspondence.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not share it with marketing partners. We disclose data only when:
- you have asked us to (for example, by introducing you to a collaborator);
- a court order, valid law-enforcement request, or other legal obligation requires it;
- it is necessary to protect Sessiz Net, our users, or the public from harm.
Our hosting provider (NuxtCloud / International Hosting Company Ltd., Frankfurt, Germany) processes data on our behalf strictly to operate the server. They act as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
How long we keep it
- Access logs. Up to 30 days, then deleted. Logs containing evidence of abuse may be retained longer for security follow-up.
- Email correspondence. For as long as the inquiry is open, plus a reasonable period for our records (typically up to 24 months). On request, we will delete it sooner unless we have a legal reason to retain it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data deleted, where we have no overriding reason to keep it (Art. 17);
- restrict or object to certain processing (Art. 18 and 21);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
- complain to a supervisory authority. The competent authority for this site is the Hessischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Wiesbaden, Germany).
To exercise any of these rights, write to admin@sessiznet.com. We aim to respond within thirty days.
Security
The site is served over TLS, with certificates issued by Let's Encrypt. Server access requires SSH keys; password authentication is disabled. Logs and backups are encrypted at rest. We follow least-privilege practices on the underlying infrastructure.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please write to admin@sessiznet.com. We will acknowledge within seven days.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we update the date at the top and announce it on this page. Older versions are available on request.
